I am against changes to the constitution since those changes were initiated by Serzh Sargsyan. Any initiative by him will be harmful, nor beneficial, to the people. Serzh Sargsyan does not represent our interests. We did not elect him.
This initiative was launches merely to prolong or eternalize Serzh Sargsyan and his regime. Regarding the opinion that nothing will change in the lives of ordinary people whether changes to the constitution are adopted or not, I think it is wrong. I am thoroughly convinced that if the draft bill to change the constitution passes, everything will start to get worse. This is especially the case if we take into account that fundamental and certain other human rights will be lessened if the bill passes.
Thus, on the one hand Serzh Sargsyan is widening and perpetuating his power with this constitutional change bill and, on the other, he’s limiting the power of the people, their rights, so that the citizenry poses less of a threat to his regime. In other words, Serzh Sargsyan wants to kill two birds with one stone.
